Hey There
My name is Chris and I have over two years experience supporting NDIS clients primarily with providing psycho-social supports. Before becoming a support worker I had a career in management but something was missing and I felt strongly about advocating for mental health issues in the community, as well as mentoring young people at the local fishing club and scouts.
Following the pandemic I finally took the leap in 2021 and began my career as a support worker, this turned out to be a challenging but rewarding decision that has enabled me to help participants to be their best selves, achieve their NDIS goals and share my love of the great outdoors and water sports.
All About Me
You can be assured that I meet the necessary requirements to be working with you, I have a working with children check, first aid certificate, NDIS screening check, NDIS safeguard training, covid infection control training, police check, drivers licence, ABN registration and I am fully vaccinated.
Just so you can get to know a little about me before we first meet I would describe myself as understanding, compassionate, family orientated, open-minded and fond of animals. My hobbies include woodwork, handyman, fishing, hiking, boating, kayaking and stand up paddleboards. If you have any goals around fishing and water sports then you are in luck as I can provide instruction, equipment and encouragement as well as networks with an Angling club.

As per my services page I can assist with a range of supports such as daily tasks, transport, accompanying on respite and help with social activity participation. Please don't hesitate to contact me below if you have any further questions, I am more than happy to work with respite providers, support coordinators and carers to help you achieve the best outcomes for your clients and loved ones.
